"No greater mischief can happen to a Christian people, than to have God's Word taken from them, or falsified, so that they no longer have it pure and clear. God grant we and our descendants be not witnesses of such a calamity." - Martin Luther - from his Table Talk

To the above we give a resounding "Amen!"

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:8-10).

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.  For do I now persuade men, or God? or "do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.  (Galatians 1:6-10)

... Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. (Colossians 2:25-28)

Spotlights:

Here is a great blessing to Christians and a wonderful evangelistic tool. The movie, "The Gospel of John" is extremely well done and is the best Biblical movie I have ever seen. Here is a link to read more about it:

You may rent it at your favorite movie rental store, as well as buy it, of course.

Teachings on Galatians

So clear and so true!!!

Everything that we receive from God is received spiritually by grace through faith. We cannot be saved nor can we grow in grace by our own human effort. Salvation is a work of God shed in ourhearts by grace; our only response is faith. Spiritual growth after salvation is also a work of God as He reveals Himself to our hearts through knowledge of and glorifying of Christ in us. We grow as we walk and He leads.

This site is dedicated to speaking forth the Word of God in presenting and defending the true gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel is embodied in the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus, and is fulfilled in "Christ in the believer and the believer in Christ," This Grace is freely given by God to those who repent, receive , believe and rest in the finished work of Christ.
